...in ink, yanked from my last sketchbook. Quoilyns galloped, rude & laughing, out of my head when I was about 16. They are the embodiment of greed, avarice and lust, and they delight in it.

You can also see them in "Soul Owning",

"Bindlestiff Sideshow Stabbing",

and there's a tiny one hidden here in "DreamStag":

These pieces (and lots more) are available for sale on my website, by the way. Thank you for looking!

I don't recall ever seeing that last one. And when doesn't the crotch rule the mind? ;-)

I painted this after hooking up with a European soccer team after they'd just won some ginormous game.

But that's a story for another time.

I don't know about anyone else but I am throughly enjoying the sketchbook pages, it's like taking a quick peek inside your head. Or at least a look through your eyes.

Well, of course I am hoping that people enjoy it...

...but this is just as much a way for me to refocus my head on my work, rather than everything else that has consumed me these last few years.

Sort like flipping through your old sketchbooks only in a more public way?

Yup, but the conversations I have in this forum revolve around what I post, as it does for any of us.

For the last two years, it's been New Orleans, Katrina, evacuataion, destruction, rebuilding...I need to remember who I am, not what's been thrust upon me.

I have Soul Owning at work--it keeps my head on straight. But it gets some interesting looks. I love watching people spot it, then move in to admire, then raise an eyebrow and glance at me. It's great.

If I could, I would absolutely purchase Church Stream and/or Soul Owning. I just can't right now. Someday. . .

I like them. I've wondered what they were in my copy of Soul Owning. One question: How do you pronounce "quoilyns"?

Heh. Well, I'd have to have a really geeky conversation about them with you to go further.

Random question: Do you sell face painting as well as art at Cons/Shows?

A dear friend of mine just showed me your site/pics. I am a girl who wears red boot and harnesses her deamons. I also live in south Louisiana. Do you have a gallery?

Aww...thank your friend for me:)

I've got some originals in a gallery on Royal in the Quarter called The Great Artists Collective, but if you're inspired, you can get work directly from my site.

The piece you mention is called "Soul Owning".
